Hi everyone! I'm Rhianna and welcome to my dream, my vision and my Goal!

I think it's time to go way back to where it all began and how I kickstarted my career to where I am today. So, come with me while we take a trip down memory lane!

My love for makeup came at a very young age where I would sit in my nans bedroom watching and admiring the diva that she is applying her bronzer. I picked up a liquid liner she had in her makeup bag and never looked back.

I would sit for hours in my bedroom practising and applying makeup. I would even set my alarm for 5am every morning to spend a couple of hours carving around my brows and applying thick eyeliner with choppy lashes before heading to school!

A few years passed and my love for makeup was excessively growing. I knew i had the skill and knowledge to push this further...

We are now in 2019 and this year is where I had booked my place with the UK's top rated beauty school Plouise Makeup Academy✨

During my time training and delving into a whole new chapter of blending, creating and learning I was working in my corporate 9-5 role where I was feeling stuck with no change. Shortly after, I had received my qualification within makeup artistry and never looked back. I then decided to put my skill within makeup to the test and open my own business as Makeup by Rhianna Jade. 

I had no business plan.

No business knowledge. 

Just a 19 year old girl with a mission, a drive and a goal.

Shortly after, we had entered lockdown and the world was at a halt however for me, I continued to push myself.

I had took a step back from in house training, studied online at home with the courses provided by P.Louise and jumped back into my corporate role to ensure I made ends meet with a solid income. They say everything happens for a reason right?! 

I knew this was my reason and that I was in the right place. Working from home was hard however during my time at home, I began to study business knowledge and slowly but surely made my own business plan to follow so I could achieve my goals.November 2021 - lockdown restrictions were lifted and I began by renting a chair in a booked and busy salon in my home village of South Elmsall. Yep, this is me! knelt down trying to set the ring light up that I had borrowed from the salon girls as at the time, I couldn't afford my own ring light after spending so much money purchasing my full kit! I then began taking on clients and the rest was history... After a year of graft, working hard and practising. It was time to flee the nest and work solo at my home studio that my Grandad and Dad were building. Now this was originally going to be my dad's garden shed but he offered me this space so I could become independent and so I could push and grow MBRJ further.Over the upcoming couple of years I slowly but surely adapted this space. Making this feel safe and so I could provide a relaxing homely feel where my clients will not only receive a service but so they can relax, vent or even have a shoulder to cry on.

I wanted to build a community full of loving, kind, caring ladies and gents where they feel at home and to ensure that my doors are always open if they wish to take some time out, have a cuppa and recharge. Created and designed by my beautiful friends and incredibly talented business owners at not just a florist. How insane is this😭...

a design that enabled me to create a larger space for my clients and students. A stunning elegant touch that provides the 'wow' factor when you walk through my doors. I didn't just want to offer a service. This was about creating an experience and without the team at NJF, I wouldn't have been able to make this at all possible!

Welcome to Makeup By Rhianna Jade - The Academy!

I made the decision to fully commit to a vision I believed in. A dream rooted in helping others feel like the most confident, authentic version of themselves.

Through working with clients from all walks of life, I recognised a clear need for high quality makeup education that is not only professional, but supportive and empowering. Too many aspiring artists feel overwhelmed, unsupported, or unsure where to begin their journey.

That is why I founded my makeup academy. A space where creativity is encouraged, skills are developed with intention, and every student is guided with genuine care and attention.

Since then, I was fascinated by the power of transformation. How the different shadow colours, texture and creativity could highlight someone's features and reveal a confidence they didn't know they had.My mission is to teach more than just technique. It is to build confidence, nurture growth, and help you step into the artist you are meant to become. Whether you are starting from the very beginning or refining your existing expertise.

The academy provides a supportive, hands on learning environment where passion is transformed into profession.
